I actually haven’t seen a great deal of the newer Dr Who; but I caught that episode and loved it!
I’ve taken a few photos in this cemetery before, but you’re absolutely right; doing it at night really brings out the shadows and creepy atmosphere.

I love this show. Great shots. Doing it night really brought out the shadows and creepiness of the statues.
